Alan K. Charnley, D.D.S, P.C.
Dr. Alan Charnley graduated from University of Michigan and has practiced dentistry in Lapeer for over 30 years. He has been a life long member of the Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown & Bridge. Dr. Charnley devotes much of his spare time to photographing nature and wildlife. His travels have taken him from the Arctic to photograph polar bears to Antarctica, photographing penguins, and the Serengeti Plain to the rain forests of Costa Rica. Dr. Charnley practices family general dentistry, including cosmetic procedures (bonding, laminates and crowns) and also orthodontics. Dr. Charnley and his wife Lynn reside in Lapeer and have two boys and two grandchildren.

 

 

 


Peter M. Mutch, D.D.S, P.C.
Dr. Peter Mutch graduated from Alma College in 1974. His masters degree was from Michigan State in 1975 and his dental degree from University of Michigan in 1979. In 2005 he was awarded his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He performs all types of general dentistry, such as cosmetics and restorative, implants, pediatric dentistry and endodontics (root canals). Dr. Mutch is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He and his wife Nancy reside in Lapeer and have two boys. Nancy is a special education teacher for Lapeer Intermediate School District. In his spare time he skis, hunts and fishes. The entire family owns and operates Mutch's Hidden Pines Christmas Tree Farm. He has been on the board of directors for the Michigan Christmas Tree Association and was awarded the New Grower of the Year by the MCTA in 2006. In 2007, he received a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

 


Paul C. Schmude, D.D.S, P.C.
Dr. Paul Schmude is a graduate of Albion College and the University of Michigan. He spent eight years in the Army National Guard and served as the State Dental Officer. In 2006, he deployed to Iraq, where he supervised a dental clinic in Baghdad. In 2001, Dr. Schmude was awarded the American Academy of Oral Medicine award. He performs all types of general dentistry, such as cosmetic, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canals), and orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He resides in Lapeer and is married with two boys. His hobbies include running, fishing, motorcycles and gardening.

 


Nathan P. Mutch, D.D.S.
Dr. Nathan Mutch was born and raised in Lapeer and graduated from Lapeer West High School in 2000. His undergraduate studies were completed at Kalamazoo College and he received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2008. Dr. Nathan Mutch was the recipient of the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award and was inducted into the Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He completed an elective dental implantology course while at U of D and plans to continue pursuing his interest in this area. In addition to dental implants, he also enjoys performing all types of general dentistry, including oral surgery, endodontics, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry. Dr.
Nathan Mutch spent the last four years living in Royal Oak while completing dental school. A few of his personal interests include snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, camping, woodworking, and traveling. He grew up working with his parents and brother on their Christmas Tree Farm and enjoys helping people smile during the Christmas season as well as in the dental office.
